Cleanrooms

Our mission is to create innovative cleanrooms with an authentic approach. We work every day to build a system based on deep human values and long-term relationships. The unique style and design can be sensed in modern combinations of materials and colors, in the right balance between architectural and engineering innovation, and in the research for new processes and finishes. Boubars develops the lighting calculations for its cleanrooms, which are useful to establish exactly the type and quantity of lamps needed to guarantee the level of lighting required by the customer. It will be our qualified technicians’ responsibility to draft a time planning of all project phases from order confirmation to final testing and post-purchase services.

Cleanroom Production and Installation

Boubars conducts scrupulous checks during every processing phase to ensure full compliance with our established characteristics, in terms of quality and size.

This is because we are convinced that in our sector, in cleanroom construction, which is continuously expanding also from a competitive point of view, strict quality control is a key aspect that deserves utmost perseverance.

Boubars’ primary objective is to provide quality materials, but equally important is this phase of the project during which we pay utmost attention to even the smallest detail.
Our cleanroom installation technicians execute every project with the awareness that each of our cleanrooms represents an emblematic hallmark of our company.
For this reason, we employ highly qualified staff with many years of experience in the construction of cleanrooms.

Our Cleanroom Solutions

Covings are used to achieve fully flush corner transitions and highly seamless wall-to-ceiling- and wall-to-floor connections. Joints at the ceiling and wall intersections are flushed with a well-designed three-way corner assembly to avoid any sharp corners and gaps. By eliminating corners, the coving system allows for total cleanability as well as an easy-to-clean environment. Our covings are provided with the following options :

  • Aluminum Coving (Powder Coated)
  • Aluminum Anodized Coving

A pass box, which is also called a transfer hatch or SAS pass (sterile access system), works as a barrier between areas with different levels of cleanliness when materials do have to be moved. The equipment is used to transfer material from an area of lower cleanliness to an area of higher cleanliness, and vice versa. All cleanroom pass boxes include a mechanical and/or electrical interlock system designed to minimize the risk of cross-contamination. This design ensures that only one door can be opened at a time, not both or more, thus minimizing the amount of “dirty” air that can enter the cleanroom.

Boubars’ stainless lockers are designed to provide operators with safe storage of personal belongings and clothing before entering the controlled area.

Specifications:

  • Grade 304 stainless steel material
  • Locker standard height 150 mm off the ground
  • non-marking rubber base
  • individually lockable compartments
  • Camlock and key locking mechanism (more locks available if needed)
  • Easy to clean slopping top
  • Available with vents on each door if required

We offer different door solutions for the different needs of our clients:

  • X-Ray Shielded Doors
  • Clean Hygienic Doors
  • Hermetically Sealed Doors
  • Bunker Doors
  • PVC Anti-Scratch Doors

These needs are based on the different conditions of a medical center:

  • High biosecurity grade BSL-3 / BSL-4 virus and recombinant DNA laboratories
  • Decontamination, fumigation chambers
  • Fumigation requires microbiological facilities
  • GMO Laboratories
  • Nuclear, biological, and chemical facilities
  • Dry chambers and facilities such as NBC Shelters are impervious to environmental personnel and product safety
  • Operating rooms, isolation rooms, fumigation, decontamination facilities, etc.

An air handling unit (AHU) is a cornerstone of temperature, humidity, and pressure within controlled environments. As a part of the HVAC system, it serves as a high-powered air processing unit that facilitates the movement and conditioning of cleanroom air. 304-grade stainless steel construction houses a filtration system, reverse fan blower, and a cooling element that conditions air for cleanroom input. Every cleanroom requires a robust air treatment system for the manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, semiconductors, and healthcare products. Floor space is at a premium, and dedicated cleanroom HVAC systems must share space with non-critical air systems. Sometimes, the in-house HVAC system is fed directly to a cleanroom fresh air induction. Internal filters and coil systems scrub particles and recondition air which is then fed through HEPA or carbon-activated filters before distribution to a cleanroom space.
